Manage the day to day general accounting and reporting functions by providing guidance and setting objectives for the team of divisional controllers and staff accountants
Coordinate and manage the US month end close and reporting processes working closely with other finance teams
Hire, train and develop staff
Manage group wide intercompany accounting
Oversee preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements and bank reporting
Lead year-end financial audit and preparation of audited financial statements
Lead annual bank audit and support bank compliance reporting
Coordinate and manage annual payroll related audits
Assist with tax compliance
Assist with central budget preparation
Partner with regional and divisional group controllers in development of accounting policies and procedures
Qualifications:
BS degree in Accounting or related field with a minimum of 7 years accounting experience. CPA preferred.
At least 3 years of supervisory experience
Critical thinking, hands on problem solving, change agent, attention to detail and demonstrated process ownership
Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to build strong relationships throughout the organization
Financial ERP experience; Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus
Advanced Excel skills
