Overview: We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately processing and recording invoices, maintaining vendor records, and ensuring timely payments. This is a vital role within our organization, as it directly impacts our financial operations. Duties: - Process and review invoices for accuracy and completeness - Verify and reconcile purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices - Prepare and process payments to vendors - Maintain accurate records of all transactions in the accounting system - Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status or discrepancies - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable - Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any invoicing or payment issues Experience: - Previous experience working in accounts payable or a similar role - Strong knowledge of general ledger reconciliation and double-entry bookkeeping principles - Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., ADP, UltiPro) and MS Office Suite - Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy - Familiarity with accounts receivable processes is a plus - Experience in public accounting is preferred but not required Skills: - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong problem-solving abilities - Proficient in 10-key typing If you are a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounts payable, we encourage you to apply.
