As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. An individual in this position will need a high aptitude for computer software, be mindful of details and a self motivator. This Accounts Payable Specialist opportunity will be located in the Santa Barbara, California area and will be a long-term contract / temporary position.Major responsibilities- Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies- Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks- Operate full-cycle A/P- Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them- Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling- Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs- Carry out additional tasks as assigned- Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily- Provide internal and external audit assistance as required
