POSITION TITLE:    Accounts Payable Clerk

DEPARTMENT:        Finance

NATURE OF POSITION:  The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for all Accounts Payable processing and related activity.

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:         None

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:            Executive Vice President

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:        

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• One (1) year Accounts Payable experience a plus
• Experience in Health Care is a plus
• Good organization skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for processing accounts payable records
• Ensure timely payments to venders by updating their files
• Provide vendor support about payments
• Responsible for reconciliation of credit card accounts
• Prepare check requests
• Ensure disbursements are valid by preparing vouchers
• Maintain petty cash funds
• Issue and void checks
• Maintain record of payments and support needed for audit purposes
• Run various Accounts Payable Reports to assist with monthly closings
• Process incoming and outgoing mail
• Filing
• Process daily deposits
• Assist with annual audit
• Assist finance team with other duties as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned
