We are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager who is a fundamental part of our accounting team!

You will be responsible for full cycle A/P that includes, invoice posting & coding, approval routing, vendor maintenance, as well as special projects. This is a hybrid role and you will need to be 'in the office' located downtown Pittsburgh 3 days a week. You will be responsible for the effective management and profitable operation. This position is open due to someone that will be retiring soon. Ideal candidates will have experience working in some form of financial services, however we are open to large corporate experience as well.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day inquiries and workload of the Accounts Payable Specialist in the department. The Manager should be the point person for questions and should serve as a resource to the team.
• The Manager should also be able to roll-up his or her sleeves and jump in to assist during peak periods or when necessary.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the company policies and procedures as it relates to invoice processing and payments.
• Ensuring that all invoices are reviewed and process timely by the Accounts Payable team and are in compliance with company procedures and policies.
• Processing requests for all domestic (USD) vendor payments (ACH, Wires & Checks).
• Manage month-end/quarter-end and year-end close by ensuring all received invoices are processed. Assemble information for external and internal auditors for quarterly reviews and the annual audit. Assist in the preparation and filing of annual 1099.
• Maintaining a strong relationship with internal business customers to ensure they receive excellent service form the accounts payable department.
• Coordinate the approval process for all loans and lines of credit
• Oversee the flow of cash and financial investments
• Analyze information to assess current and future financial statuses
• Review costs for optimal budget planning
• Evaluate reporting systems and collection procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related field (ideally) experience may be considered in lieu of
• Previous experience in financial branch management, financial services, or other related fields
• 5 years of progressive Accounts Payable experience
• 3 years of supervisory experience
• Proven track record with the ability to lead a team
• Must be highly organized to meet accuracy and precision standards
• Ability to work under pressure / meet deadlines

Salary is somewhat flexible and will be commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
