Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and processing all accounts payable transactions. This is a vital role within our organization, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors and maintaining financial records.

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies

- Review invoices for proper coding, approval, and documentation

- Prepare and process payments to vendors

- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues

- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions in the accounting system

- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable

- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any payment-related inquiries or issues

- Assist with general ledger reconciliation as needed

Experience:

- Previous experience in accounts payable or related field preferred

- Familiarity with tax regulations related to accounts payable

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
