Accounts Payable/Receivable Analyst jobs in Great Falls, MT

The Director of Student Accounts position aligns with the Mission of the University in that this role will provide the financial statements, billing detail, and support for setting up payment plans to the students of the university. This position is also critical to billing and collection of tuition and other payments for the university to ensure that the university has the resources necessary to support the education of our students.

• Configures student information system to execute all tuition, fees and any other charges or transactions to student accounts correctly and advises decision makers on process and implications of changes in tuition and fee policies.
• Manages all billing, invoicing, cashiering, student loan disbursement, third party billing, and in-house as well as external collection activities.
• Manages student refunds in compliance with Title IV and state regulations.
• Ensures that students, parents, employers, external agencies, and others have clear and timely information and guidance to support on-time payment.
• Manages annual 1098-T process.
• Establishes clear goals and timelines for receivables management and track progress.
• Responsible for look up of inquiry of student refund check statuses.
• Hires, trains, and evaluates staff; develops performance and development goals; provides ongoing coaching to meet performance expectations.
• Supports daily bank deposit process and coordinates regular reconciliation and year-end financial processes with Finance team.

EDUCATION:

EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of three years of experience in accounts receivable is required.
• Experience in the higher education sector preferred.
