Accounts Payable/Receivable Analyst jobs in Pensacola, FL

Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist needed to perform a combination of calculating, posting, and verifying data to ensure complete and accurate accounting records. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Applicants should be able to perform these duties with minimal direction.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Use of accounting software to record, store, and analyze information
• Verify figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper coding
• Codes documents according to company policies and procedures
• Reconciles accounts/reports and communicates discrepancies found
• Performs general office duties, such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence
• Prepares Accounts Receivable statements and follows through collection
• Reviews and posts Accounts Payable invoices
• Prepares bank deposits in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Reconcile accounting records in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Compiles statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses
• Interacts with customers and management
• Other duties as assigned

• Proficient with Buildertrend, Quickbooks and Google drive a plus
• Construction accounting /job costing experience a plus
• Must have the ability to sit for long hours while working from a desk

Education and Experience:

• Three or more years' accounting experience preferred
