Accounts Payable/Receivable Analyst analyzes accounts payable/receivable activities to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Maintains and reconciles the accounts payable and accounts receivable ledger to validate charges and ensure timely and accurate payments and receipt of payments. Being an Accounts Payable/Receivable Analyst utilizes AP/AR data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvements or cost savings. Generates reports to bring insight into collections, account ages, and other relevant metrics and relays conclusions to management. Additionally, Accounts Payable/Receivable Analyst investigates and resolves discrepancies in billings and collections or payments. Analyzes customer credit history, determines credit risk, and recommends credit limits and payment terms. May recommend improvements to accounts payable/receivable processes. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Accounts Payable/Receivable Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. This position is accountable for processing invoices, preparing payment to suppliers. Maintain files of Accounts Payable records and documents.

Ability to communicate fully in English with all levels of management and co-workers. Spanish will be an advantage. Ability to read and interpret documents and manuals. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Thorough knowledge in accounting concepts and bookkeeping and also have basic math skills.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to direct or carry out furnished in written or oral or diagram instructions. Ability to interpret instructions and guidelines set by the hotel’s policy and procedures.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be capable of sitting and working on a computer for extended periods of time. Able to walk throughout the hotel, distributing, or picking up supplies, and/or paperwork, quite a few times daily, also, one must be able to drive outside of hotel premises and deliver various materials.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work conditions are mainly to work in a fast paced office, it tends to get busy as occupancy grows, or as seasons change. There is quite a bit of noise from all the surroundings, such as trucks loading, and unloading, and kitchen staff calling orders.
