POSITION SUMMARY
The Account Receivable and Payable Specialist is responsible for intraoffice communication, streamlining administrative procedures, inventory control, accurate documentation in accounting software, handling invoices in an appropriate manner, and managing accounts payable and receivables. The successful Account Receivable and Payable Specialist is an energetic professional who doesn’t mind wearing multiple hats. Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative duties and executive support related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Well organized, flexible and enjoys the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Provides clerical support when needed to assist admin staff with assigned administrative duties such as answering phones, sorting and distributing mail, and preparing documents
· Maintains office supplies; orders supplies as needed
· Coordinate internal and external resources, and cultivate relationships with vendors
· Processing invoices from vendors and customers with accounting software
· Accurate documentation of all transactions
· Maintaining the financial records of all past, present, and future transactions
· Monitor accounts to ensure payments are current
· Resolve invoice discrepancies in an appropriate manner
· Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
