Position Summary:
AR responsibilities include efficient and accurate processing of daily accounts receivable, maintaining assigned customer base, research and reconciliation of customer accounts/issues as required, initiating collection proceedings with outside service provider; keeping records of collection and status of accounts.
Essential Functions:

Manage assigned receivables portfolio

Process credit memos
-
Process customer refunds
-
Monitor credit holds report
-
Maintain customer files including tax records, printing, and mailing/faxing statements

Review account histories with customers
-
Contact customers via phone to secure payment on past due invoices
-
Identify and monitor overdue accounts; notify Sales Department about status of those accounts.

Ability to build and maintain strong relationship with external customers and internal team.

Arrange for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules, based on customers' financial situations.

Administer credit card web site and process credit card payments

Record information about financial status of customers and status of collection efforts by maintaining accurate account notes and escalating at the appropriate time

Resolve valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries

Post customer payments by recording checks, and credit card transactions

Sort and file correspondence, and perform miscellaneous clerical duties such as answering correspondence and writing reports

Perform other AR and invoicing duties as assigned, which may include banking deposits and invoicing support.
