Position Summary:

AR responsibilities include efficient and accurate processing of daily accounts receivable, maintaining assigned customer base, research and reconciliation of customer accounts/issues as required, initiating collection proceedings with outside service provider; keeping records of collection and status of accounts.

Essential Functions:

• Manage assigned receivables portfolio
• Process credit memos
• Process customer refunds
• Monitor credit holds report
• Maintain customer files including tax records, printing, and mailing/faxing statements
• Review account histories with customers
• Contact customers via phone to secure payment on past due invoices
• Identify and monitor overdue accounts; notify Sales Department about status of those accounts.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationship with external customers and internal team.
• Arrange for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules, based on customers' financial situations.
• Administer credit card web site and process credit card payments
• Record information about financial status of customers and status of collection efforts by maintaining accurate account notes and escalating at the appropriate time
• Resolve valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries
• Post customer payments by recording checks, and credit card transactions
• Sort and file correspondence, and perform miscellaneous clerical duties such as answering correspondence and writing reports
• Perform other AR and invoicing duties as assigned, which may include banking deposits and invoicing support.
