Position Summary:

The Accounting Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our company’s financial operations. This position will focus on general accounting activities within Accounts Receivable, including reconciliations, month-end closings, and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Receivable Management: Perform a variety of accounting tasks related to Accounts Receivable, such as reconciliations, collections, and dispute resolution.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements, such as Sarbanes-Oxley and SEC regulations.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
• Project Support: Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preffered.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• CPA certification or active pursuit of the CPA exam is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $71,000.00 per year
