Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate and timely receipt of payments. Being an Accounts Receivable Supervisor monitors collection period and sends follow-up inquiries regarding payments for the organization. Negotiates with past-due accounts to resolve all payment issues in a timely manner. About the Role
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate to join our dynamic team at Rubix Foods.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong background in collections, with a focus on providing excellent customer service. This individual will be responsible for following up on outstanding balances until paid in full and investigate/document customer account credits by utilizing various communication channels such as phone, email, and online portals.
A key aspect of the role involves multitasking and conducting thorough research to achieve resolution of outstanding items.
This position reports into the Accounting Manager.
To be successful, you must be driven, organized, energetic, and proactive in managing multiple tasks based on team priorities.
Key Responsibilities
· Cash Application
· Process accounts receivable transactions and ensure accuracy and timeliness of customer payments.
· Prepare and send invoices to customers as required.
· Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up with customers for collections.
· Reconcile discrepancies and resolve billing issues.
· Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications related to accounts receivable.
· Balance Cash Accounts
· Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
· Monitor customer statements to accounts receivable aging and submit as needed
· Assist with other projects and perform other duties as assigned.
· Maintain outstanding Accounts Receivable to the Level Set
Key Attributes
· Must be reliable and trustworthy.
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Outlook)
· Must be able to learn accounting software systems – Great Plains Dynamics.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.

· Education Requirement: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Associate Degree Preferred)
· Experience: 2 Years experience in Accounts Receivable or at least 3 Years professional experience in office Setting
