Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Assists the Director of Activities in developing and supervising programs which provide entertainment, inter-communication, socialization, exercise, relaxation and provides an opportunity for creative expression fulfilling social and recreational needs.
- Supervises and directs those programs assigned by the Director of Activities, prepares materials, demonstrates techniques, gives instructions, and assists when necessary.
- Motivates residents to develop new hobbies and interests as well as encourages them to continue their current interests; stimulates socialization through participation in group activities.
- Helps the Director of Activities maintain an orderly Activity Room, Multi-Purpose Room, office area and storage rooms.
- Assists residents to and from activities.
