Responsibilities:

An Activity Coordinator develops and provides activities games, arts, crafts music, and other recreational activities for the Neighborhood Center to ensure community members have a quality experience when at the Center. The position requires a high commitment to service excellence. Enables communication among and throughout the staff and Center members.

The Activity Coordinator is a part-time position; the schedule is 9:00-1:00 pm Monday-Friday; flexibility at times with this schedule and the opportunity to work up to 40 hours a week.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year in a previous administrative role or related experience in a professional

environment

● A valid driver's license and dependable transportation necessary

● Experience customer service roles; involving structured and planned activities ideal

● Cheerful, pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional demeanor

● Ability to work independently under general instructions and with a team

Strong attention to detail; ability to manage many details related to data entry, scheduling,

follow-up requests and file maintenance

● Computer skills -including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

● Excellent time management, and organizational skills

Ability to communicate effectively/professionally with individuals at all levels of the

organization

Preferred Qualifications:

● Degree in a Health-related field

● Previous work with vulnerable adults or the geriatric population

● Experience in Community health outreach programs

● Nutrition knowledge

● Experience performing wellness and recreational activities

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Salary: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
