Memory Care Activity and Marketing Coordinator

A Memory Care Activity and Marketing Coordinator role combines two essential functions, catering to the needs of residents while also promoting the facility's services.

Role Overview:
The Memory Care Activity and Marketing Coordinator is a pivotal position within our facility, seamlessly blending the responsibilities of enhancing residents' quality of life through engaging activities and promoting our services to potential residents and their families. This dual role requires creativity, empathy, and strong organization and communication skills to effectively cater to the needs of our residents while also driving awareness and interest in our memory care services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Activity Coordination:
• Develop and implement a diverse range of activities tailored to the cognitive abilities and interests of residents in our memory care unit.
• Collaborate with caregivers and healthcare professionals to design programs that promote mental stimulation, physical activity, and social interaction.
• Maintain detailed records of activity participation and resident feedback to continuously improve programming
• Marketing and Outreach:
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to raise awareness of our memory care services within the local community.
• Create compelling marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and digital content, highlighting the unique features and benefits of our memory care program.
• Coordinate in house facility tours, outreach events, such as informational sessions and open houses, to educate and promote to prospective residents and families our services and plan of care.
• Collaboration and Support:
• Collaborate with the broader care team to ensure activities align with residents' individual care plans and therapeutic goals.
• Provide support and guidance to families navigating the decision-making process for memory care placement.
• Act as a liaison between residents, families, and management to address any concerns or suggestions related to activities or marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in marketing is preferred but not required
• Experience working in memory care or a similar healthcare setting is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect empathetically with residents and their families.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing tools and platforms.
