The Activity Coordinator requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. In addition, Activity Coordinator performs a variety of tasks.   • Responsibilities

    The Physical Activity Coordinator (PAC) is a school-based role focused on increasing youth physical activity. Through a combination of capacity building and direct service, the PAC will help schools provide more opportunities for youth to be physically active in ways that are safe, fun, inclusive, and sustainable. PACs will be part of a professional learning community to share resources and best practices for supporting physical activity in schools. The specific activities will depend on school needs and goals. This position is a great fit for someone thinking about a career in teaching, coaching, or youth development. PACs will be placed in schools in Seattle and Tacoma. People with ties to these communities are strongly encouraged to apply.

    Requirements

    Required Education/Experience:

    • Experience working with children.
    • Experience working in a team environment.
    • Experience planning and carrying out activities for children.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.

    Preferred:

    • Prior experience working in a school-setting.
    • Proficient leadership and communication skills.
    • Collaborative and creative mindset, with an affinity for problem-solving.
    • Administrative experience in a research setting.
    • Data entry and word processing experience.
    • Currently enrolled in college level courses at an accredited college or university.

    Min to Max Hourly Salary

    $20.50 - $30.76 /hr

    Min to Max Annual Salary

    $42,640.00 - $63,980.80 /yr

    Salary Information

    This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
