Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being an Activity Specialist is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Job Description:
Creative mind to assist with monthly activity calendars, daily activities and outings
Assistance with family and resident visitation
Transporting residents to group activities
Thinking outside of the box for activity ideas that are appropriate for the broad range of residents
Willingness to expand outside of the activity department
Requirements:
High school education/GED or CNA Certification
LTC experience preferred but not required
