What We Do:
OhioMHAS operates regional psychiatric hospitals in six locations across the state that operate 365/24/7. Our specialized facilities provide short-term, intensive treatment to patients in both inpatient and community-supported environments. We also deliver comprehensive care to patients committed through the criminal justice system.

Salary Information:
$2,000.00 New Hire Sign on Bonus, $1,000.00 paid at 120 days, $1000.00 paid at 365 days. No contract or length of terms
- $33.45 per hour with the first increase in 180 days to $35.07
- Additional $1.50 per hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift
- Additional $3.35 per hour for hours worked 2:30 pm – 7:00 am
- Additional hourly retention supplements available for education and certifications up to 15%
- Annual increases each year with an additional longevity supplement after 5 years of service

The Job Opportunity And Duties:
What you will do:
- Serve in a fundamental role as an interdisciplinary treatment team member for psychiatric patients creating and executing treatment plans
- Observe, evaluate, and record patient behavior, condition, & response to medication
- As charge nurse, initiate and direct psychiatric and nursing care for patients and provide support for nursing staff while promoting a positive and safe environment for recovery
- Contributes vital input on records, plans, and reports
- Facilitate patient group activities

You Also Need To Know:
- Must be able to complete a 4 week (business days Monday-Friday) full time orientation
- May work weekends and holidays; may be exposed to communicable diseases and unpredictable patient behavior
- Training and development required to remain in the classification after employment
- Biennial renewal of licensure as registered nurse
