Analyzes associated documents and makes necessary adjustments to accounts and/or recommendations to resolve customer issues. Being an Adjustment Clerk communicates results of findings to customer. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Adjustment Clerk typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Adjustment Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. POSITION OVERVIEW:
The ESY School Adjustment Counselor promotes and enhances the overall academic mission by helping build skills in students to manage any social/emotional/situational barriers to learning. The ESY Counselor significantly contributes to the development of a healthy, safe and caring environment by advancing the understanding of the emotional and social development of children and the influences of family, community and cultural differences on student success and by implementing effective intervention strategies for the individual student. The ESY Counselor will provide social skills groups to students identified as needing adjustment counseling over the summer due to regression. Groups will focus on middle school students and will be 90 minutes long twice per week for five weeks. Counselor may need to also meet with individual students in crisis, and may need to provide consultation to staff.
