Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Administrative Assistant to work in our Environmental Support and Services department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off. Hybrid work opportunities may be available for this position.
Responsibilities Include:Provide high level administrative support to the Division Director of Environmental Support and Services (ES&S), The Deputy Director, the ES&S management team, and staff.
Works with senior leadership (SLT) admins at INL and with DOE and external agencies or companies to support INL environmental, waste management, and cultural resources commitments.
Supports the ES&S Director, this position tracks and facilitates director level communications, commitments, and schedule.
Supports the Deputy Director, ES&S managers, and leads, this position processes internal and external written communications, submits CDRLS, schedules travel, manages official documents and records, and procures office and field equipment using P-Card.
Compose written external communications and presentations for the Director as needed.
Function in an acting capacity for the ESH&Q SLT admin.
High School Diploma or Equivalent plus 4 years relevant experience or a Vocational Certificate & 2 year's relevant experience.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet/Intranet.
Ability to prioritize and perform administrative functions with little or no direction based on in-depth knowledge of INL administrative procedures.
Knowledge of Asset Suite, Ariba and P-Card systems, and familiar with SharePoint.
