Job Summary
The Administrative Director of Cardiovascular Services administers, directs, plans, coordinates, monitors, promotes and evaluates all components of the cardiovascular service line. Cardiovascular Services includes the Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, Cardiac Services, EKG, Stress Echo, Cath Lab PreOp and Recovery to include initiatives related to development and maintenance. Collaborates with the appropriate Department Directors, Medical Directors, Clinical Chiefs, Medical Staff, and Senior Leadership in the hospital’s short and long term strategic planning efforts. Responsible for patient care management, resource management, and fiscal management. Ensures compliance with standards, policies and requirements of governmental and regulatory agencies.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Work Experience:
Seven years of progressive management experience with a strong background in related Cardiovascular Services. Contract development/negotiation preferred. Physician contracting and business plan development experience preferred.
License/Registration/Certification:
Current license from Texas State Board of Nursing Examiners required.
Current CPR Training program.
Education and Training:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
Master's degree in Nursing, Business, or Healthcare Administration or related field required.
