The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing general office assistance to the Vice President of Facilities, Assistant Vice President of Facilities, the Manager of Facilities, the Operations Coordinator and the Purchasing Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant will maintain, and update spreadsheets used by the department for record keeping and/or reporting and will create spreadsheets when necessary. This position will organize and keep files up to date, receive and follow up on calls for Facilities Management Department staff and call vendors for pricing, scheduling, or parts as necessary (housekeeping and exterminator services, landline phones, etc.). He or she will cover the Switchboard Operator/Receptionist area when needed and provide support to the Purchasing Agent when requested by the VP of Facilities to include processing Purchase Orders for materials and supplies as well as cell phones and all other commodities handled by the Purchasing Agent.
Education & Experience
A high school diploma is required, associate degree is preferred. Secretarial School Certificate a plus. Three years of related work is required.
