SUMMARY: Provide administrative support to the Director of Finance, Executive Director, and Human Resources Manager. Assist with and manage a variety of business processes under the supervision of the Finance Director and provide both clerical and accounting admin support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING: High School diploma or equivalent, college preferred
EXPERIENCE: 5 years of successful office experience, including proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, accounting systems, and general office equipment and functions.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & EQUIPMENT: Demonstrated capacity to contribute to a team working environment and collaborate with co-workers to solve problems and create a positive and professional work environment. The position requires written & oral communication, interpersonal, basic math, problem-solving, basic accounting, and phone etiquette skills. The position also requires the ability to handle multiple situations simultaneously and with interruptions.
DECISION MAKING: Requires judgment, troubleshooting, problem-solving, tact, and ability to prioritize workload, respond to requests for information, and deny access to information when necessary. Guided by federal rights privacy acts, grant guidelines, BOCES policies and procedures, and retention schedules. Requires collaboration with the Director.
