Establishes work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness of assigned operations. Being an Administrative Services Supervisor ensures compliance with established corporate standards and may be responsible for reviewing and evaluating the work and performance of subordinates. May require an associate degree. Additionally, Administrative Services Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The Administrative Services Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. The primary purpose of this position is to supervise the Maintenance, Housekeeping and Laundry Departments to ensure that the highest standard of safety, sanitation, and repairs in the care center and grounds are maintained at all times. Also, is responsible for establishing staffing schedules for the maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry departments, for hiring and supervising these staff members, and for ordering supplies and coding bills within the budget.
