LMHP/LPC/LCSW or Resident/Supervisee
Only three in the office days per week from 9 AM - 3 PM.
Part-time hourly are available. Hourly positions start at $30-$40/hour. Salary compensation is commensurate with experience and license status.
Must be licensed as an LPC, LCSW or LCP or registered as an LMHP Resident/Supervisee with experience providing mental health services to adults, adolescents, and/or children. (Supervision hours towards LPC can be provided.).
-Responsible for providing short-term interventions to adults, adolescents, and/or children with serious mental health diagnoses to include training in the following areas: mobile crisis training certified, crisis response, care coordination, medication management, daily living skills, symptom identification and management, community integration, interpersonal functioning, communication skills and health and wellness management.
-Understanding of serious mental illness in adults, adolescents, and/or children
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for clients
-Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and support to clients and their families.
-Understanding of acute mental health crisis and safety planning
-Strong clinical and professional boundaries
-Ability to focus on outcomes and individualized care
-Ability to coordinate with various service providers, insurance companies and family members to achieve positive outcomes and prevent the individual's risk for hospitalization
-Strong verbal and written communication skills required
-Participation in clinical supervision and staff meetings
-Coordination and implementation of all Substance Abuse Clinical services offered to adult clients if applicable
-Conduct substance abuse services in a group and/or individual setting
-Submission of documentation i.e. assessment, service plans, daily progress notes, discharge summaries, etc. in a timely manner
-Works independently to complete required tasks with minimum supervision, as appropriate
-Maintains the confidential nature of all client and company related activities
-Must obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification as well as Tova. Or must be completed and obtained within 14 days of hire.
-Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Required Education
MUST possess Master's Degree in social work or a counseling/mental health related field.
Required Experience
Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in the mental health field (preferably with adults and adolescents/children).
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The LMHP/LPC/LCSW or Resident/Supervisee will communicate effectively, in writing and orally, to program director and other staff in order to maintain appropriate clinical records and for supervision purposes.
Interpersonal Communication -This position is in continuous contact with individuals, other staff, and members in planning and providing individual services. Ability to appropriately relate to a variety of individual and family personality types requiring use of judgment and discretion.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with individuals and staff.
Required Licensure
Job Requirements: You must be a registered LMHP, LPC, LCSW, LMHP-R, LMHP-RP or LMHP-S. Additionally, you will need to have completed the required DBHDS approved mobile crisis training.
Valid state driver's license and driving record in good standing with the DMV.
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training certification or must be obtained within 14 business days of employment.
