As an Admissions Assistant, you will be an essential part of the Marketing and Graduate Enrollment team, providing admissions operations support for the application process. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective and accepted applicants, responding to inquiries via email and phone. Your primary responsibility will be to process applications and prepare electronic files for review by the Admissions Committee, ensuring efficient and accurate processing. Additionally, you will be involved in the initial screening of candidates and work closely with the recruiting team to achieve enrollment goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process applications and prepare electronic files for review by the Admissions Committee
- Respond to applicant inquiries via email and phone
- Perform initial screening of candidates
- Collaborate with the recruiting team to achieve enrollment goals
- Provide support to the Manager, Admissions Operations
- Ensure data integrity and maintain confidentiality regarding all applicant information
- Work across programs as daily priorities demand

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with prospective and current students, staff, and faculty - on the phone, in person, and especially in writing.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask.
- Ability to be enthusiastic when answering questions and communicating with all prospective and current students.
- Ability to work independently, but within a team environment, focusing on the success of the assigned program, while supporting the other programs as daily priorities demand.
- Proficiency with MS Office software, Google suite of software, and ability to learn new software (i.e. Technolutions Slate CRM and Ellucian Banner).
