Somersworth Storage, LLC is seeking a kind and responsible person to fulfill role of manager at our locally owned and operated self-storage facility. The employer offers a positive and welcoming environment. The employer is seeking a manager for a set, non-changing weekly schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays 8:30am to 5:00pm, and Saturdays 9:00am to 1:00pm. The total hours per week will be 28. Applicants should be aware that we are a dog-friendly office and often have friendly dogs in or visiting the office.
We are seeking applicants who possess a professional demeanor and are tremendously comfortable with communication and customer service. The success of the manager position is measured on professional conduct, positive customer interactions, confidentiality and accuracy. We seek applicants with extreme punctuality and proven consistency with fulfilling work duties. We seek applicants with the ability to self-motivate and manage time throughout the day.
In exchange for the outlined duties below, the base pay for this position is $20/hr.

· High school diploma/GED equivalent
· Ample experience in customer service role
· Valid Driver’s License and dependable vehicle for commute
· Proficiency with computers; i.e., working with software programs
· Comfortable working in Microsoft Office Suite
· Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
· Ability to demonstrate effective problem solving
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· To perform the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and to be able to speak and hear.
· The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, twist, and reach with hands and arms.
· The employee must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities vary, but generally include:
· Accurately maintain customer records using account management software programs
· Prompt, precise and professional communication via phone, email and in person
· Promote Self Storage Units to current or prospective customers
· Accurately convey contract language and facility policies to prospective or current customers
· Enforce facility policies and standards
· Maintain cleanliness and order of the facility
· Stock and promote sale of merchandise
· Rent and/or reserve U-Haul equipment, utilizing U-Haul software
· Vendor interaction is sometimes required
