Our dedicated Coordinators and administrative staff are prepared to help you have a fulfilling employment experience providing Direct Care for someone special. Direct Service Workers provide essential help with Activities of Daily Living in order to assist persons with disabilities to live with as much dignity and independence as possible. Tasks involved in the job of a Direct Service Worker could include:

    • Companionship for a person who cannot be left alone because of a physical or cognitive impairment.
    • Teaching adults with disabilities skills necessary to manage living by themselves.
    • Assisting a child who has physical disabilities to participate in everyday school activities.
    • Helping someone with bathing, dressing, toileting, or getting in and out of bed.
    • Checking a person’s temperature, pulse, blood pressure or taking their medicine.
    • Assisting people with grocery shopping, running errands and community recreation.
    • Helping with meal preparation, eating, or housekeeping.

    • Proof of current auto liability insurance.
    • Unlimited access to a reliable vehicle in safe operating condition with a current inspection sticker.

    Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 20 – 36 per week
