Adult Day Care Director creates and directs programs that address the health, psychosocial, and educational needs of older individuals and their caregivers and that provide clients a safe, secure, and positive daily experience. Responsible for recruiting, training, and retention of qualified staff. Being an Adult Day Care Director manages the financial operations for the center including billing, reimbursements, and budgets. Performs assessments of prospective clients to determine if programs will meet their needs. Additionally, Adult Day Care Director coordinates with caregivers, families, social services agencies, and medical professionals to plan clients program of care. Monitors programs to ensure effectiveness, quality care, compliance with applicable regulations and standards, and to identify areas for improvement or expanded program offerings. May be a RN with experience in gerontology. Requires a bachelor's degree of social science or a directly related field. Typically reports to top management. The Adult Day Care Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be an Adult Day Care Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Position Summary
The Driver ensures the safe, timely, and courteous transportation of patients from their homes to designated La Dolce Vita ADC facility, and return to their homes. Drivers are responsible for keeping the vehicles and the equipment well maintained, ensuring that the vehicle has all necessary supplies and maintenance services performed.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to perform repetitive tasks, repetitive movements of hands fingers such as driving. The job requires standing up, walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position. The employee will frequently be required to each with hands and arms, grip, bend a knee, sit for period of time, and stand for long periods of time. Employee will have frequent communication verbally and written. Must be able to exchange accurate information, demonstrate skills in verbal communication and listening. Employee must have a current and valid Florida driver’s license, pass mandatory and random drug and alcohol screenings. Vision to read printed instructions and labels, hearing and speech to communicate effectively in-person, and over the telephone. Must be able to push and pull all modes of patient transport equipment, ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds assisting patients when help is needed (wheelchair, walker, etc.) Employee must have the ability to perform the heavy lifting required in the movement of patients and the transport of patients in a wheelchair.
