Adult Day Care Director creates and directs programs that address the health, psychosocial, and educational needs of older individuals and their caregivers and that provide clients a safe, secure, and positive daily experience. Responsible for recruiting, training, and retention of qualified staff. Being an Adult Day Care Director manages the financial operations for the center including billing, reimbursements, and budgets. Performs assessments of prospective clients to determine if programs will meet their needs. Additionally, Adult Day Care Director coordinates with caregivers, families, social services agencies, and medical professionals to plan clients program of care. Monitors programs to ensure effectiveness, quality care, compliance with applicable regulations and standards, and to identify areas for improvement or expanded program offerings. May be a RN with experience in gerontology. Requires a bachelor's degree of social science or a directly related field. Typically reports to top management. The Adult Day Care Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Job Summary
SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION: Responsible for transportation services provided to the residents living in the community.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein.
Assure that all residents are treated with respect and offer excellent customer service.
Responsible for turning in all documents and reports in a timely manner.
Assist residents with getting on and off vehicle when needed.
Responsible for performing and documenting a pre-trip inspection of vehicle before departing on assigned trips.
Responsible for making sure the mirrors, windows and windshield of the bus are clean prior to departing for a trip.
Report and document post-trip inspection of assigned vehicle after the completion of trips.
Re-stock First Aid and Body Fluid Clean Up Kits inside assigned vehicle as needed.
Responsible for reporting all traffic accidents or moving violations to Manager of Transportation with 24 hours of the occurrence.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
Posting and passing out flyers door to door to residents.
Delivery of news letters
Assist with indoor/outdoor holiday decorations.
Responsible for completing a transportation sign-in sheet with dates, times and destinations for the upcoming month.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
