Aerospace Engineer jobs in the United States

Aerospace Engineer designs and supervises the construction of aircraft and aerospace products as well as associated parts such as airframe, auxiliaries, communication equipment, controls, fuselage, and powerplant. Analyzes results of stress tests on various craft and missile parts and conducts research to determine flight characteristics. Being an Aerospace Engineer may concentrate in a single aerospace discipline such as flight mechanics, guidance, and control systems, propulsion systems, robotics, or aerodynamics. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Aerospace Engineer typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Aerospace Engineer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.
