Aerospace Engineer researches and develops structural engineering specifications for aerospace products, parts, or associated operations to improve the efficiency and reliability of aerospace systems. Analyzes results of stress tests on various craft and missile parts to determine material durability and tolerances. Being an Aerospace Engineer oversees flight tests of prototypes and analyzes resulting data to validate flight characteristics and identify necessary improvements. Conducts calculations and utilizes simulations to evaluate aerodynamics, structural integrity, propulsion efficiency, and the effect on fuel consumption of new or existing materials. Additionally, Aerospace Engineer utilizes CAE, 3-D, and digital modeling to create detailed plans and specifications to support production. Assists quality assurance and purchasing teams with the evaluation of new or existing suppliers, products and materials, or technologies. Understands and complies with all federal regulatory requirements and specifications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Aerospace Engineer work is closely managed.     We are seeking an experienced and motivated Design Engineer to join our dynamic Aerospace Engineering team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to engage in cutting-edge design and manufacturing processes in the aerospace industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in product development and management, utilizing their skills in Solidworks, AutoCAD, and Inventor to create innovative solutions for our aerospace projects.

    Responsibilities:

    As a Senior Design Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

    1. Leading the design and development of advanced aerospace systems, components, and products, with a particular focus on valve design and manufacturing.
    2. Utilizing your expertise in Solidworks, AutoCAD, and Inventor to create detailed designs and models for manufacturing.
    3. Implementing GD&T principles to ensure accurate and efficient manufacturing processes.
    4. Collaborating with the product development team to manage and oversee the lifecycle of our products, from concept to market release.
    5. Identifying and resolving design and manufacturing challenges to ensure the highest quality of our products.
    6. Collaborating with other engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
    7. Participating in design reviews and providing constructive feedback to improve product quality and performance.
    8. Staying updated with the latest trends, technologies, and standards in the aerospace industry to continuously improve our products and processes.

    Qualifications:

    To be considered for the Senior Design Engineer position, you must have the following qualifications:

    1. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Aerospace, Mechanical, or a related field.
    2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in design engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry.
    3. Proficiency in Solidworks, AutoCAD, and Inventor.
    4. An in-depth understanding of GD&T principles.
    5. Proven experience in valve design and manufacturing.
    6. A strong track record in product development and management.
    7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
    8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
    9. A passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
    10. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
