Aerospace Engineer researches and develops structural engineering specifications for aerospace products, parts, or associated operations to improve the efficiency and reliability of aerospace systems. Analyzes results of stress tests on various craft and missile parts to determine material durability and tolerances. Being an Aerospace Engineer oversees flight tests of prototypes and analyzes resulting data to validate flight characteristics and identify necessary improvements. Conducts calculations and utilizes simulations to evaluate aerodynamics, structural integrity, propulsion efficiency, and the effect on fuel consumption of new or existing materials. Additionally, Aerospace Engineer utilizes CAE, 3-D, and digital modeling to create detailed plans and specifications to support production. Assists quality assurance and purchasing teams with the evaluation of new or existing suppliers, products and materials, or technologies. Understands and complies with all federal regulatory requirements and specifications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Aerospace Engineer work is closely managed. Business Systems Analyst (BSA) / ERP Administrator

    Summary

    The Business Systems Analyst works with IT and business clients to respond to tickets, update/create reports from ERP systems, support process improvement initiatives, gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating them into effective ERP solutions. The BSA will support users with all tickets relating to Sekisui Aerospace ERP systems (Epicor and PLEX). This position will focus on PLEX ERP support and could transition into supporting the Epicor ERP as well.

    This position is located at the following Sekisui Aerospace location: Orange City, Iowa. May require periodic travel to Renton and Sumner Washington (approx. 15%), as well as other business travel as needed.

    Duties

    Provide daily support of the Plex ERP/MES system:

    • Monitor service desk ticket queue to ensure incidents and requests are addressed in a timely manner and collaborate with business partners to understand, analyze, and implement fixes for tickets
    • Perform troubleshooting of ERP/MES system problems, research the causes and identify systemic problems and solutions
    • Provide ERP applications support for all users across the enterprise
    • Maintaining system/user security groups
    • Plan, schedule, and communicate with end-users on system availability, maintenance windows, and patch releases

    Business Intelligence / Reporting:

    • Work directly with business system stakeholders to define and drive system use and analytics
    • Collaborate with business units to enhance reporting opportunities and solve problems by developing custom reports utilizing SQL and BI tools and analytics.

    Maintain a strong engagement with customers around usage, performance requirements, and how ERP/MES is used to support the business, by:

    • using tools such as Share Point and/or news feeds, etc.
    • hands-on training for new users, continuing education, and new functionality
    • knowledge sharing sessions

    Professional Development:

    • Gain product knowledge of Epicor software for involvement and assistance to WA facilities
    • Partner with vendors regarding product roadmap, enhancement suggestions and support cases
    • Keep up to date on new technology and digital solutions.

    Required Qualifications

    Intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn and recommend ERP functionality not currently utilized

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with technical and non-technical "customers" at all levels of the organization, entry level to Sr. Leadership.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience configuring and managing Epicor Kinetic and/or Plex UX ERP systems

    Experience working with middleware integration tools.

    Experience with web-based application platform.

    Experience with Power BI

    Experience using digital technology to automate business processes

    Programming and SQL skills

    Basic understanding of Manufacturing and/or Finance processes

    Education

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent directly related experience is required.

    Experience

    Two years of experience with Plex, Epicor or similar ERP preferred.

    Computer Skills

    • Ability to use software applications and other information technology
    • IT or ERP administration knowledge with a strong understanding of ERP functionality.
    • Proficient with MS Suite, with advanced Excel skills (V lookups, H lookups, pivot tables & filters).

    PPE is provided by SEKISUI Aerospace based on the employee's position and exposure.

    Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, additional overtime hours as needed
