  • We are seeking one (1) SEASONAL Agricultural Worker.

    Employment dates begin April 23, 2024 and run through December 1, 2024. This is a CONTRACT position, and does not include benefits or paid time off. Employment is on a contract basis with conditional performance based requirements.

    Responsibilities include the following:

    • Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers.
    • Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery.
    • Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery.
    • Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment.
    • Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions.
    • Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools.
    • Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks.
    • Weigh crop-filled containers, and record weights and other identifying information. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers.
    • Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops.

    Job Requirements:

    Experience Required:

    • Months of Experience Required: 3
    • Special Requirements: Minimum of 3 months of verifiable agricultural work experience is required.
    • Must have a valid driver's license.
    • Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment.
    • Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds.
    • Will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required.
    • Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required.
    • Repetitive movements is required.
    • Overtime and working holiday is mandatory.
    • Wage rate may increase with verifiable performance
    • Number of Hours Per Week:40Work Schedule (Start/End time):8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

    Job Type: Contract

    Pay: $14.68 - $14.69 per hour

    Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
