We are seeking one (1) SEASONAL Agricultural Worker.
Employment dates begin April 23, 2024 and run through December 1, 2024. This is a CONTRACT position, and does not include benefits or paid time off. Employment is on a contract basis with conditional performance based requirements.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers.
- Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery.
- Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery.
- Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment.
- Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions.
- Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools.
- Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks.
- Weigh crop-filled containers, and record weights and other identifying information. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers.
- Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops.
- Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor.Crops: Barley, Canola, Corn, Oats, Soy Beans, Winter Wheat

- Months of Experience Required: 3
- Special Requirements: Minimum of 3 months of verifiable agricultural work experience is required.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment.
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required.
- Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required.
- Repetitive movements is required.
- Overtime and working holiday is mandatory.
- Wage rate may increase with verifiable performance
- Number of Hours Per Week:40Work Schedule (Start/End time):8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

Pay: $14.68 - $14.69 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
