Mississippi Laser is seeking a qualified and experienced Quality Inspector. As a Quality Inspector you are responsible for meeting customer specific quality requirements while minimizing customer rejections.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Customer satisfaction management to include error-free parts
• Minimizing customer returns
• Maintenance and calibration of all measuring equipment
• PPAP reporting on all required parts according to customer due dates
• Daily compliance with job work instructions for ISO Certification
• Identification and implementation of continuous improvements in all work processes
• Use of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Faro arm
• Correspondence with customers regarding quality issues, to include Corrective Action documentation and Root Cause analysis
• All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Inspector level
• Strong math skills
• Data Analysis skills required, Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Root cause analysis skills with corrective action follow-up
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities and multiple tasks
• Track record of self-motivated, results-orientated team player
• Customer focused

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
