For our HQ in the center of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, we are looking for a:
Sustainability Specialist (Biodiversity)
As our Sustainability Specialist you will join the growing sustainability team of Tradin Organic. The team has a global scope and covers all main entities within Tradin Organic, such as Trabocca which will also be significant part of your role. Focused on biodiversity, you will be responsible for implementing our deforestation-free sourcing policy, including compliance with the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). In addition, you will research and propose a new approach to biodiversity impact measurement and reporting, including compliance with the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). For both topics, you will do detailed analyses on land use, forest cover trends, carbon sequestration, impact of regenerative practices, and much more. You will also work closely together with colleagues, suppliers, partners and customers, and be the main contact point for internal and external stakeholders for questions concerning biodiversity and deforestation.
You will report to the global Sustainability Manager of Tradin Organic and have regular contact with the global Quality Manager of Trabocca. If the workload allows, and your interest aligns, the position could also support the Sustainability Specialist that working on social due diligence in our global supply chains.
