Buttars Tractor is looking for a dedicated Agricultural Equipment Technician to join our team in Tremonton, UT. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined and enjoys working with their hands.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and operate agricultural machinery and equipment such as tractors, combines, loaders, etc.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Operate power tools to perform routine repairs on the equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of machines and equipment.
• Cleaning, painting, assembling and maintaining machinery equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds from machine to truck.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Tremonton, UT 84337: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Required)
