Aides Supervisor - Home Care supervises a staff of Home Care Aides who provide and support patients with personal care. Schedules home health aides for patient visitation and work assignments. Being a Aides Supervisor - Home Care monitors the quality of care performed by the home health aide staff. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Aides Supervisor - Home Care typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Aides Supervisor - Home Care supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. The Home Health & Hospice Weekend Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that patient care is coordinated and managed appropriately on the weekend. This position can be offered as part-time (20 hrs/wk -Saturday & Sunday) or full-time (30 hrs/wk - Fri thru Sunday). The Home Health & Hospice Weekend Supervisor is responsible for receiving and coordinating referrals, scheduling, and processing workflow, and serving as a clinical resource to staff Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 8am-4pm. The successful candidate should possess 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience with an emphasis in home care nursing, knowledge of state and federal home and hospice regulations, excellent coordination and communication skills, and the ability to handle emergency situations with levelheadedness. Current VT RN licensure is required.
