Aircraft Maintenance Manager manages engineering tasks involving changes or alterations to designs or specifications of aircraft parts, modules, or systems to ensure calibration and safety. Implements procedures to guide the routine inspection of aircraft components to facilitate optimal and reliable functionality. Being an Aircraft Maintenance Manager oversees the scheduling and timely completion of repairs and maintenance ensuring budget adherence. Reviews documented issues and reports to determine repairability and evaluates recommendations for replacements, repairs, or modifications to ensure conformance with safety standards and performance requirements. Additionally, Aircraft Maintenance Manager evaluates aircraft data and technical documents and researches new technologies to identify areas to improve practices or processes. OVERVIEW
Oversee the day-to-day and long-term operations of the maintenance department including upkeep of all private spaces, building exterior and public and back-of-house spaces.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED equivalent; two years of college or vocational training in electrical or mechanical engineering or plumbing, preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Three to five years in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services required. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Previous hospitality experience preferred.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Will be responsible for providing duties, tasks, and other general guidance for Maintenance team.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
Valid driver’s license required. Pool certification required, or ability to attain within 60 days. Certification or specialization in one or more technical craft (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) preferred.
ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Most work will be performed indoors in moderate temperatures, controlled by hotel environmental systems. May need to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time (5 hours or more). Must be able to bend, kneel, climb ladders, crouch and/or climb into precarious places, and handle heavy and bulky equipment. Finger dexterity to operate tools and equipment as well as office equipment, including but not limited to computer keyboard, multi-touch phone, photocopier among others, required.
Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments of the hotel in a timely manner.
Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception. Talking and hearing continuously in the process of communicating with guests and employees.
Employee may be subjected to moderate to loud noise levels, outdoor weather conditions, work in precarious places, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
Travel in personal vehicle may be required, typically within 20-mile radius of hotel to secure supplies and equipment.
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds frequently, up to 100 pounds occasionally. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing in excess of 300 pounds in the event of an emergency.
OTHER
Maintenance Manager may be required to work varying schedules as dictated by the business needs of the hotel. This includes attendance at all scheduled brand and job specific training sessions and meetings. May require nights, weekends, and holidays.
Consistent attendance in accordance with the standards set forth by Resolute Road Hospitality must be maintained and is an essential element of the success in this role. If the Maintenance Manager is unable to meet these requirements, he/she will be subject to disciplinary action based on franchisee operating policies, up to and including termination of employment.
