General Aviation Aircraft Maintenance Technician position at Exec 1 Aviation in Ankeny Iowa at the Ankeny Regional Airport. Responsible for performing routine maintenance and inspections in a timely manner to Exec 1, FAA and customer approved maintenance requirements. Applicants must currently hold an A&P license and have a thorough working knowledge of all current FAA Regulations with the ability to deliver quality work in a safe, clean and efficient manner. Typical daily duties include oil changes, 100 Hour Inspections, removal and disassembly of defective parts; assembly and installation of replacement parts, Phase Inspections, and other miscellaneous shop duties.
SKILLS
· Ability to read, use and understand various digital maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs etc (ATP, 1View).
· Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with coworkers and customers while working as a team or individually.
· Ability to logically understand and analyze technical/inspection issues and resolve them.
