Aircraft Maintenance Manager manages engineering tasks involving changes or alterations to designs or specifications of aircraft parts, modules, or systems to ensure calibration and safety. Implements procedures to guide the routine inspection of aircraft components to facilitate optimal and reliable functionality. Being an Aircraft Maintenance Manager oversees the scheduling and timely completion of repairs and maintenance ensuring budget adherence. Reviews documented issues and reports to determine repairability and evaluates recommendations for replacements, repairs, or modifications to ensure conformance with safety standards and performance requirements. Additionally, Aircraft Maintenance Manager evaluates aircraft data and technical documents and researches new technologies to identify areas to improve practices or processes. Develops internal policies and guidelines to ensure compliance with federal aviation regulations and safety standards. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Aircraft Maintenance Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Purpose
The Aircraft Maintenance Planner reviews customer requirements, constructs bid estimates and develops workflow plans and production schedules in coordination with Operations. This position has the option to work remotely.

Qualifications
REQUIRED
Candidates must have experience in Aircraft Maintenance Planning or Maintenance Programs at a Part 145 Repair Station, Part 1221/135 Airline, or Aircraft Equipment Manufacturer OEM.
DESIRED
Holds a valid mechanic certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.

The work is performed in an office environment, aircraft hangar, at the departure gate or on the aircraft parking ramp.
