POSITION SUMMARY: This role manages a team responsible for manufacturing and facility maintenance with duties including installs, troubleshooting, and repair of production/facility equipment. This role will also assist production with long term goals to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Responsible for the maintenance of facility machinery, building, and grounds.
• Management of 4 person maintenance team, including training, directing work priorities, entering timekeeping, completing employee reviews.
• Consistent documentation and tracking utilizing softwares Interal, Baan, and Fanuk controls.
• Daily communication with Production Control department to minimize the negative impact of machine downtime. Machines include:
• CNC Lathes, CNC Gap Lathes, Millturns, CNC Mills (3, 4 & 5 axis),CNC Bridge Mills and CNC Boring Mills
• Fanuc (Mitsui Seiki, Toyoda, Megas, Mori Seiki), Mazatrol(Mazak), Okuma and Tosnuc(Toshiba) controls
• Plans, prioritizes and oversees longer term maintenance projects.
• Oversees and plans preventative maintenance program.
• Obtains quotes, liaises with suppliers and contractors. (Prices & contracts repairs)
• Support our site Environmental Officer to ensure we comply with environmental regulations and reporting requirements.
• Attends daily start up, management and operations meetings as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires a high school diploma/GED.
• An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus.
• 5-7 years manufacturing maintenance & 2 years management experience preferred.
• Hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC. Vacuum furnace experience is preferred.
• OSHA 10 or 30 and forklift/overhead crane experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
