Being an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor ensures compliance with all FAA maintenance regulations and requirements. Coordinates inspections and follow-up tasks. Additionally, Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor evaluates vendor's pricing and service offerings to select the best repair outsourcing options. May require a bachelor's degree. Requires FAA Aircraft and Engine Mechanic License. Typically reports to a manager. The Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs.
