Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor supervises the maintenance operations of aircraft airframes and engines to ensure safe and reliable performance. Oversees routine servicing and preventative maintenance to optimize the lifetime of aircraft airframe and engine components according to internal procedures, guidelines, and technical handbooks. Being an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor evaluates technical requirements to determine the tradeoffs between the repair versus the replacement of components and the effect on cost and safety. Implements policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all federal aviation regulations, standards, and specifications. Additionally, Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor informs and trains aircraft mechanics on current information from manufacturers and regulatory bodies. Coordinates and schedules inspections and follow-up tasks to ensure timely completion. Requires a high school diploma. Requires FAA Airframe (A) and Powerplant (P) Mechanic License. Typically reports to a manager. The Mission for this Position:
As an Aviation Maintenance Technician, you will be performing and documenting maintenance and alterations of aircraft airframes, engines, propellers, and appliances by following the policy and procedures published in the company's General Maintenance Manual, General Operations Manual, manufacturer's maintenance manuals, and associated service documentation, acceptable and approved data as applicable, and 14 CFR regulations. You will support the management of a variety of aircraft such as PC-12s, Citations, Challengers, Gulfstreams, and Embraer.
We need a self-starter who is experienced with jet and turboprop maintenance practices, aircraft maintenance publications, and equally as knowledgeable in performing scheduled inspections as you are in troubleshooting and line maintenance.
