Aircraft Mechanic (Jet) keeps airplane in safe working condition by servicing engines, engine components, and airframe components. Modifies and replaces parts such as instruments, wiring, and tires. Being an Aircraft Mechanic (Jet) identifies hazardous aircraft conditions and determines when aircraft should not be flown. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, Aircraft Mechanic (Jet) may require certification from FAA-approved aviation maintenance technician school. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Aircraft Mechanic (Jet) works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be an Aircraft Mechanic (Jet) typically requires 1-3 years of related experience, or may need 0 years of experience with additional specialized training and/or certification. Job Requirements and Duties:
- High School diploma
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing and packaging equipment control systems
- PLC and HMI
- GMP or Pharmaceutical environment
- 2 plus years of manufacturing industry experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills
- Proven experience as maintenance technician
- Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on various equipment and systems.
- Experience in planning maintenance operations
- Ensure all machinery is up to working standards
- Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
- Design all preventive maintenance programs
- Resolve all maintenance issues
- Extensive knowledge in a variety of mechanical systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to supervise a team if required.
