We offer Class A automotive finishing, powder coating, CARC and mil spec painting, RFI/EMI shielding, line sequencing and pad printing. Matlab currently serves the industries of heavy truck, automotive, industrial equipment, security equipment, aerospace, consumer products, medical and others.

Essential Functions:

· Mixing of paint

· Personal protective equipment must be work at all times when painting

· Applying coatings to surfaces (various)

· Inspect parts while working on them to ensure quality

· Clean and repair equipment

· Clean paint booth and replace filters

· Maintain paperwork such as process mixture sheets, checklists, paint usage, and time sheets

· Use of quality equipment such as manometer, thermostats, viscosity cups for quality checks and ability to perform checks.

· Maintain quality checks on paint gun set up such as spray pattern and flow rate.

Physical Demands:

· Must pass respirator physical and be able to wear respirator 6-8 hours per day

· Some lifting (15-25 pounds), occasionally up to 50 lbs, over 50 lbs requires team lift

· Stooping, reaching and moving of carts

· Standing 8-10 hours per day on concrete floors

· Good eyesight, must be able to see color variations (Note: Glasses cannot be worn with full face respirator mask.)

· Normal Hearing

Work Environment:

· Concrete floors

· Warm during summer months and cool during winter months

· Dusty/dirty environment

· Exposure to paint and chemical fumes

· Constant noise within paint booth

NOTE: House painting does not apply.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
