Small Engine Mechanic Responsibilities
Diagnose small engine consumer equipment utilizing diagnostic software and / or online technical manuals
Perform component removal, disassembly, and reconditioning as part of the repair process of small engine consumer equipment.
Resolve electrical and mechanical issues
Safely operate all equipment the dealership sells and services
Help the dealership by participating in special programs, such as sales of service packages.
Communicate repairs with customers so they have an understanding of the work being done
Small Engine Mechanic Qualifications
Prior experience as a mechanic in a related field
Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following technical manual procedures
