    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The role of the Line Service Technician (LST) is to be the face and direct service provider of the Sebring Flight Center.

    LINE REPRESENTATIVE PRIMARY DUTIES:

    • Provide first class customer service for employees, based tenants, visiting aircraft pilots, passengers, and crews.
    • Dispense Aviation Gasoline (100LL) or Jet A fuel to Piston, Turbo Prop and Jet Aircraft of various sizes and/or configurations.
    • Directs transient aircraft to designated parking areas.
    • Reposition aircraft to various locations using appropriate tug and tow equipment for specific aircraft.
    • Escort individuals and/or vehicles on the Airport Operations Area.
    • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly quality control procedures on all fueling systems and associated equipment.
    • Use multiple two-radios for communication with employees and aircraft operators.
    • General cleaning of the Flight Center and Airport Authority facilities.
    • Work in a safe manner and follow all established safety and security procedures.
    • Confirm that the terminal building is open in the morning and secured at the end of each workday.
    • Assist with runway closures.
    • Perform FOD checks on all aircraft movement areas.

    OTHER DUITES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform other functions as necessary or as assigned.
    • Occasional overtime is required to meet late or early arriving aircraft, or to accommodate special events.

    EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
    • A minimum of one year’s front desk customer service experience.
    • Basic knowledge of aircraft engines and fuel types experience preferred.
    • Must be able to complete the established Line Technician Training Program within 60 days of employment.
    • Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
    • Neat professional appearance.
    • Consistently positive attitude and team spirit.
    • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
    • Able to multi-task several functions and maintain professionalism at all times.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Communicates positively, respectfully, and effectively with other employees, customers, tenants, pilots, crews, passengers, and visitors.
