    • Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring and inspecting surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
    • Obtain help by sounding alarms and notifying emergency services personnel.
    • Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, restraining trespassers and criminal suspects.
    • Control traffic by directing drivers.
    • Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing criminal suspects, victims, and witnesses, and obtaining signatures.
    • Maintain environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
    • Maintain organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements and professional standards.
    • Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
    • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    • Proactively patrol the mall property as instructed.
    • Provide high visibility security performance presence to help deter criminal activity and violations of the Dimond Center Code of Conduct.
    • Be professional by seeking to assist/interact with tenants and customers to enhance their experience while at the Dimond Center.
    • Patrol the mall property, being alert to any hazardous or potentially harmful situations, taking not of these and advising the proper department.
    • Respond to and investigate incidents and accidents to include medical emergencies, fires, alarms, thefts, etc. to be followed with writing detailed incident reports.
    • Conduct preliminary criminal investigations, evidence, and crime scene preservation; assist and conduct arrests and enforcement in accordance with Anchorage Municipal Code (AMC), and all State and Federal laws.
    • Attend and participate in all mandatory training and certification courses mandated by State and Municipal law, and Dimond Center Security policy.
    • All other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or property management personnel.
